A beautiful smile is your best visiting card
Mon, May 11, 2009
It is proof of the progress in research and development in contemporary dentistry: after only a one hour procedure with the latest methods in the Canadian Medical Care private medical facility, your teeth can be as white as those of a Hollywood movie star.
Beautiful dentition is now no longer the preserve only of Hollywood stars, but also of many successful executives. Surveys recently conducted in America show that people with a brilliant healthy smile are more successful at closing a business contract than people who don’t care for their teeth. Healthy dentition is an indication that their owners will be just as responsible in looking after their firm’s development as they are in looking after their teeth.
“Your dentition is your visiting card. Investing in your health is the best thing you can do for yourself,” says dentist Dr. Stepan Gala, who seems to have a hereditary predisposition to his profession: both his father and grandfather were dentists.
What has changed in dentistry over the generations? “Today, prevention and appropriate care for your teeth matter. In the West, the price of dental surgery has for a long
time been relatively high – so patients from all income groups need to take good care of
their dentition. They realize that prevention and proper care are cheaper and less timedemanding than a cure or even replacement teeth. In the Czech Republic, unfortunately, the opinion still prevails that you only go tosee your dentist when your teeth are aching,”
adds the dentist who, after graduating from Charles University, also completed longterm traineeships in Germany and America.
He follows the latest trends in dentistry at international congresses and brings his knowledge back to the Canadian Medical Care centre. Here, he provides his patients with care of the highest possible standards.
Healthy teeth – the essence of health.
The initial examination, which also includes an X-ray of the dentition, allows the dentist to discover any existing and potential problems.
Then he can begin treatment. Thanks to local anaesthesia, this is always painless. And what’s more, the dentist, together with the dental
hygienist, can also provide patients with a plan for how to look after their teeth and to avoid any problems in the future.
“Thorough and daily oral hygiene is the basis of healthy dentition. This is the key to the prevention of caries and gingivitis,” Dr. Gala advises. “The inflammatory gum disease called paradontitis, threatens not only the teeth but also the overall health. Scientists have discovered a connection between it and disorders of blood circulation, lung diseases and diabetes.
“All my life, I regularly used to go to one dentist and believed that all was well. When he retired, the new dentist in our corporate medical facility sent me for a dental hygiene appointment before my entry examination,”
says Dagmar Kokešová, a manageress and CMC patient. “It sounded to me as if I had not been cleaning my teeth properly – and I felt almost insulted! Yet it wasn’t before the extremely discreet and considerate approach of the dentists in the Canadian Medical Care centre that I realized what the right care for my teeth involved. Recently, I also tried the teeth whitening procedure – and I am really delighted with the result.”
Teeth whitening with the newest ZOOM2 method is a novelty in the Canadian Medical Care centre. After an hour’s procedure, applied
by top experts, your smile will be beautiful and radiant. Come and try it for yourself! Find out more at http://www.cmcpraha.cz
